Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Archate provides a browser extension and website (the “Service”) that turn architectural images and floor plans into render-ready prompts for AI chat tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, we store your email address and name via our authentication provider so we can identify your account, plan, and daily usage.
- Images you submit. When you click a tool, the image you have attached in your AI chat is sent to our backend and to our AI model provider to generate a tailored prompt. A copy of the input image may be retained to power your prompt history and our internal analytics.
- Usage data. We record which tools you use and how many prompts you generate, to enforce plan limits and improve the product.
- Payment data. If you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
How we use information
- To generate prompts from the images and tools you choose.
- To maintain your account, plan, quota, and prompt history.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To process subscriptions and prevent abuse.
Third-party services
We share the minimum data needed with service providers that help us run Archate:
- Google Gemini — processes your submitted image to build the prompt.
- Vercel — hosting for our website and backend.
- Neon — database for accounts, usage, and prompt history.
- Razorpay — subscription and payment processing.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to the Service.
Data retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Input images retained for history or analytics are deleted when you delete the corresponding prompt or your account.
Permissions the extension uses
The extension requests access only to the AI chat and reference sites where its tools run, and stores your settings and account link locally in your browser. It does not read or transmit page content beyond the image you choose to process.
Your choices
- You can disconnect the extension from your account at any time from the extension popup.
- You can stop submitting images simply by not clicking a tool.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data (see Contact).
